What is young life club

I love that it brings faith to high school. Delaney Owen, a senior at CdM, is one of many attracted to the accepting and exciting atmosphere of Young Life. The music is really great; even the guys sing! He was influential in helping me come to Christ.

Jim began a weekly club for the kids with singing, skits and a simple message about Jesus. Club attendance grew and after graduating from seminary, Jim and four other seminarians launched Young Life on Oct. Young Life moved to Colorado Springs in and has ministries for multi-ethnic areas, rural areas, students with disabilities, middle school students, pregnant teens, college students, and kids on military bases, totaling more than ministries in more than 70 countries.

Kids in every culture respond to this life-changing message when caring adults are willing to first earn the right to proclaim the truth of the gospel. Through DGL sponsorship, Young Life leaders in the world's poorest countries have access to a future they never thought possible — the opportunity to attend college and make an impact in their local communities.

Young Life is for all kids. We see tremendous opportunity working alongside the Catholic Church to reach every kid with the gospel. We train staff and volunteers to minister to Catholic teens, equip Catholics to serve, and work alongside parishes, schools and universities.
