Where to get chefs hat wow

Comment by This would be great with Spider Splatter Mace. Comment by redruler Is the only way to farm this item by doing the 1 dalaran cooking daily? Are there no other dailies for Dalaran Cooking Awards?

Comment by shazan If you are starting to cook on cataclysm and wished to farm this only to save time when cooking large amounts of food, I don't think it's a good idea, since it will demand hours and hours to farm a hat to save hours cooking only after years playing wow. Unless you plan on cooking hundreds of stuff everyday, of course.

It's just better to take a little bit more time to cook stuff and do it while you're doing anything else on the pc or out of it, since it's automaticaly done after you start the process. Comment by deathager Taurens with that.. Pure awsomeness! Comment by The chef hat goes really well with the pilgrim's dress!

Pilgrim's Dress. Comment by Uzzle Can it really be that easy bob? Stormwind and? Now if only they'd make it account bound so I could get one for my monk Comment by jamesjiao Does anyone know whether this can be used for transmogrification? Comment by Tenkich I read this on blue post - All Cooking awards have been combined into a single currency: Epicureans Awards. So I'm guessing this Waterlogged recipe will have those 5x Epicurean Award instead cuz i was saving these to quickly gain my hat on my fresh panda on day one in MoP.

Comment by SargonStarblade A word of warning, I know that before this item was not able to be disenchanted, I tried on an alt and the game said so. I use the addon Trade Skill Master and was using the destroyer to DE a bunch of items, I've done it many times before including yesterday and it did not DE them. Today it did.

Be careful. Comment by HengistEU In case you're for some reason bored with how your Chef's Hat looks like, you can trasmog it either to Battered Jungle Hat or Helm of the Fire Festival - there may be some more white head items with green armor stat, that also work, if you happen to find any, please post. Comment by cUnAzeroth I think they should make an Iron Chef's Hat that is made of you guessed it iron and has a much higher armor stat.

Maybe also an instant cook time. Comment by Tigerblade74 I'm surprised that I'm not finding anyone else here, wishing this was BoA or "toy box"-able. There's more easily accessible items then this that's boa or toy box-able. Come on Blizz!

Hopefully it gets the same treatment as the Safari Hat and Gnomish X-Ray Specs so that it gives you a helm graphic and a buff that lasts until you dispel it. Comment by Sarthorius In legion, Toy version. Comment by Karp7 This item is becoming a toy in Legion! Check it out and feel free to leave suggestions for me in the comments : New Toys - Old Items Converting to Toys I figured it's better now than later to start farming the old items that will be converted to toys in Legion.

Who knows if they'll lower drop rates or how heavily they will be camped once they're added to the toybox. I made myself a Google Sheets document to track all the toys being converted and it has the ability to mark off the item once you've found it. With the filters I can then hide any marked off toys. This has really helped me find and track the long list of items and I wanted to share it with the community. I've heavily cleaned it up for sharing purpose, so feel free to use it as you please!

Alternatively you can download it as a. Happy hunting :. Hope this is just a bug. I'll be a bit peeved if I have to get it again on Live.

Comment by VersaiRage Does anyone know how to get this hat back after you accidentally deleted it. Well other than grinding the dailies again!

Shouldn't the name of the addon be changed, given that kunda's addon that does the same thing is called Chef's Hat and has been around for almost 2 years? Last edited by Kleo : at PM. I noticed after I published mine, actually I first made it for myself but decided to go public because 1 "Chef's Hat" is the item, no addon is named that, bazinga it's now mine 2 I guess more isn't as bad, considering addons do die out so more means more options when one does.

Code wise the only difference is that my version depends on you being able to craft anything, so peaking at the tradeskill would not equip the hat, but mousing over the craft buttons while you can use them would for a second disable them, equip the hat, re-enable them when it's done and allow you to craft on from there onward.

When the tradeskill frame is closed, only then would it return the original gear back on. I guess that sums up all the differences between our two addons, but on face value they do the same gig. Comment by Dharay As much as I like it becoming a toy for my alts, I hope I can keep mine as equipable headgear. Because visual buffs is only shown when watching your character and not in armory, inspect or character selection. May sound weird to some of you but I like seeing my Chef's Hat on my cook character in all forms. Even more so as a roleplayer who roleplay on the forum and such.

Would have actually prefered it becoming account bound instead. So I get dislikes for wanting to keep some fun and nice headgear? The best solution according to me is to make this a toy but also adding a second chef's hat that can be worn, preferably cosmetic so we can transmog it. We don't get enough fun gear for transmog.
