Lisbon shows up at the county jail and brings him a muffin. Roddy is sitting at a table nearby. Lisbon feels he could have told her all that over the phone. Just then, Dooley Gerber arrives and sits down to visit with Roddy. He wants to ask Dooley a question but needs Lisbon to keep the guard off him. Jane goes over to Dooley and the guard starts to intercept him. Lisbon wants to know what he learned.
Jane says it was just the control question, the next one is the critical one. She reminds him of the seriousness of his situation and how long he could be in jail. Lisbon insists Bosco is a happily married man and he has no feelings for her. Jane smiles as he listens to her.
Bill sits up and eyes it so Jane gives him half. Jane puts the other pieces of the muffin in the bag, then shreds some of the sheet and shakes it in the bag.
He puts together a trap and he and Bill are on the lookout for a mouse. Bill falls asleep, as does Jane, but Jane awakens when he hears the mouse.
He watches it heard across the room towards the bag with the muffin pieces in it. Once the mouse goes in, Jane pulls the sheet and the book on the other end falls down and seals the bag. Jane gets up and closes the mouse in the bag. The next morning, Bill yells for help. One guard shows up and then calls for backup. He asks if Bill did it and he tells them he had nothing to do with it, he found him like that.
Two guards load Jane up on a stretcher and bring him to the main desk. The guard there, who is afraid of mice, sends the others back to their posts while he calls for the medic.
While the guard calls for the medic, Jane quietly unlocks the handcuffs and releases the belt strapping him down. The guard hears Jane whispering so he leans down to hear. The guard freaks out and backs away from Jane, back into his office. As the guard is calling for backup, Jane gets up, kisses the mouse, tosses it into the office with the guard, then shuts the door. The poor guard is screaming for help the entire time.
He passes by the medic on his way in. Minelli walks into the CBI and tells Lisbon, who is napping on the desk, that he had a dream Jane escaped from prison and wants her to wake him up. Lisbon apologizes and says she had no idea what Jane was planning. Bosco comes in, sits down and wants Lisbon to contact Jane to have him come in.
Lisbon wants to know how he expects her to get in touch with him. Bosco says she has influence over him, they are close. Dooley is staring at Jane, walking up behind him. The house is full of people eating and drinking.
Jane says, not yet but he will. He asks for a cup of tea. Donna gives Jane a cup of tea. Jane is sitting at the table with Donna, Sandrine and Dooley in the kitchen. Jane wants to know how Donna felt having her brother beat up her husband over the vultures. Donna feels angry because she let her husband down. Donna tells Dooley that she let the money blind her, they all did. Sandrine tries to excuse herself because she has stuff to do. Jane asks her not to go and talks about Kirby finding clarity and how important it was to be truthful.
Jane points out that when they found Kirby he had flecks of glitter on his face. When he saw Dooley at the prison, he had some on his face too which means he and Kirby were in close contact to the same woman, a woman who likes to wear glitter. Dooley goes over to his wife and grabs her face. Jane tells them that Sandrine and Kirby were having an affair, she was bored and frustrated and he was available.
Kirby realized what kind of woman she was so he warned her before he was going to come clean about their affair. He wanted to start a new life away from the family, with his wife, whom he did love.
Dooley grabs Sandrine and demands the truth. Sandrine says Kirby made her do it. Perhaps several followers will commit copycat murders to lead Jane to believe that RJ is still alive The mindf—k continues after death? Perhaps, like Obi-Wan, RJ has become more powerful than could be imagined, now that Jane has struck him down. His syndicate can surely operate without a living RJ.
Or will it? If the gun is gone, who removed it? What evidence, if any, will link the dead person with RJ? Perhaps he is a well known pillar of his community? Perhaps Jane will be demonized for taking away this great philanthropist? Perhaps RJ had a boss? How will Gale Bertram respond to knowing that he was with Jane mere minutes before he committed murder?
Random loose ends: 1. A narrative red herring? Or will this come back into play? How will agent Van Pelt deal with having almost been married to an RJ mole? I hope they really deal with this.
He was at the mall to track Jane, which leads me to believe that Bertram may also be a mole. The coolest series ever!! I also agree with all that Kerry has said. Some of my predictions and hopes is that go deeper into the lives of the characters,. Jane was living in a motel i think? Guess nobody else thinks that Visualize is dodgy….
But if you think about it, the church leader knew that RJ was planning on killing Christina. He also dropped a very mysterious phrase hinting that he knew much more than he let on… Also there was that guy a church member who shot the murderer of his fiancee and he was very strange talking about the killing etc. Besides as far as I remember well, there is a lot of room for improvement in that department it looked as if he had been sent to kill the murderer.
Great series,I hope 4th is as good as the previous ones. But then it might be…?!?! And the man killed by P. J, may be an imposer. Only B. H knows. You know the feeling you get when a sudden blast of air hits your face? I was like… Whoa… And then I was like… What the hell?! One helluva episode. Oh and I remember there was this episode in season 1. He tried writing something on the wall before finally succumbing to death.. I guess you will just have to wait and see. Fantastic show!!! That would just be too easy!
When Jane goes on trial he definatly needs to plead in self defense because this so called Red John was the one who pulled a gun on Patrick first! I just love this show! I was reading some of the other comments and I agree It would be so awsome if Christina Fry!
I think the real Red John is the chief. I cannot recall his name, but he is the one who sat at the mall with Patrick, before he realized the thing about the rope. And the writers made Lisbon forget about the time, the chief mentioned his admiration for William Blake. He could easly pull the strings, i mean come on! He is controlling a whole department. Jane did not shoot the real red john. And i think if he goes to prison he will soon realize, that RJ has ppl in behind bars to.
If he doesnt go to jail, he will most likely be forced to see a shrink, he will be suspended, and he will be fired from CBI. And then of course in mid-season, Red John would attack again, unless the CBI chief is really going to retire. So there is no reason for him to keep going, really. It was purly self-defence.
Need to know what happens to Vampelt, and Hightower. Can hardly wait!! When Jane finally killed Red John, I was extremely satisfied.
You guys will really have to come up with something brilliant, good luck! Donavan Warchapter made a interesting point. John the Red. That would make sense. Incredibly interesting find. I have a few points i would like to discuss. One, that would try and get close to the unit and anouther that would get close to Hightower. Cover all bases. Why suddenly bring himself in the open now? There had to be a reason. For 10 years or so Red John has been playing games with Jane and now suddenly he emerges?
They stand for everything the Jane tries not to be. Personally, I think that means something. Not only that but when Jane stands up, so does the man in the red shirt. Even though I still believe that Jane killed Red John, that did seem slightly suspicious.
One thing i also noticed. When Red John was talking to Jane about his wife and child, notice the look on Janes face. It kindof reminds me of his signiture… without the smile. Janes eyes were frowned downward. Though i do believe that Jane will get out of jail.
He would have plenty of people on his side. Lisbon of course, will try and get him out. Jane and Lisbon do have a connection and anyone can see they are really, really good friends. If so, then there is a chance the Red John will bail Jane out to keep up his sick game. Just a thought. Imo, Red John is both an alias and an organization like Visualize with people ascending to the rank of RJ.
I think it would be lame for the serie to show that this was the fake RJ and i dont think that Bruno is such a person to put something like that in the story. In governments but also in local places, like that guy Todd, that died after he was set on fire in the CBI. Along with Visualize etc. RJ will continue, and might even get PJ out of jail or trials intentionally to continue the game.
Pretending and making PJ believe that the person he killed wasnt the real RJ, etc. But the whole plot of RJ could go so many ways so its a waste for me to typ them all out here. Unless Bruno. The final scene where PJ kills RJ i was really good cause you had the feeling as a viewer that he was kinda crushed when RJ began talking about the smells of his wife and child.
That moment right there had me speechless. But the scene before this, when RJ and PJ talked. And RJ was blerring about having enough of this and wanna get out, start new live, wanting to apologize face2face for any pain he caused, blablabla. I thought this was LAME, and because of this scene..
Nevertheless a good final episode of a season and great set up for the next! Other thoughts i have about the show are:. I read above that she could be RJ, but i seriously doubt it. Cause there was a episode with the blind lady saying HE. Which means.. The thing is.. Personally i think.. OR 2 she was faking it and plays a big role in the RJ storyline.
I really wonder how this RJ who got shot knew about the meeting in the mall. The thing is, i believe that the current chief of season 3 is something to do with RJ. Cause after PJ set up the meeting with him, we see him making a call. This could be a deliberate thing from Bruno to put the viewers on the wrong clue. But he could have called that possible fake RJ, so therefor he was there.
I didnt notice this, but it could be a clue. Whats in the little box of LaRoche and someone made a statement about his name being J. This is a very keen and interesting clue. What is up with that Visulize storyline in combination with RJ.
The TOPman of Visualize i forget his name what is his deal in all this. Furthermore i am ofc very excited about S4, cause what will happen now. Unfortunately i think the first half of the season will focus on PJ getting trials, and his team backing him up, or not, LIsbon in crossfire..
I also read people saying that lissbon and van pelt wasnt really legit in the serie. Cause a lot of times when patrick is on the phone talking with RJ, van pelt in the background. And that lisbon never really looked legit. Im like WHAT? I think over the last 3 seasons.. Anyway I have been reading all these other comments and something new came out of those words is that red john could possibly be a organisation???? The assassin, and her rope, for the room below, which was the fioncee. The show is really brilliant.
It made us think, and re-think. And to the cast, of course! It was Red John. Patrick has some jail time coming up which should make for some interesting storylines for a while.
Alternatively he is found guilty but due to temporary insanity gets to spend some time in psycho institution. The gun is not his his prediliction for pickpocketing comes to the fore so murder is not premeditated. Simon Baker is perfectly cast for the Jane character. It must be something about aussie actors. Terrell J. Ramsey Boo as Boo as Fatso Fasano. Gregorio Inmate 2 as Inmate 2 as Zia Harris.
Rod Hardy. Storyline Edit. Countryside welder Kirby Hines 29 has been killed and dragged onto land, the disputed oil rights on which are worth millions. His widow Donna and family hide secrets. Patrick can only advise from a distance, being jailed on a charge of abusing CBI information in his search for Red John. While the team tries to get Sam Bosco to rescind the charge, Jane expertly manipulates his jail mates, and even arranges to get a suspect in the Hines case to get arrested and jailed.
Crime Drama Mystery Thriller. Did you know Edit. Trivia Patrick says : "Turkey vultures are dying out because of a loss of habitat - they're a protected species. As to the second statement, the Wikipedia article on the Turkey Vulture says "The turkey vulture species receives special legal protections under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of in the United States, Cornell Law School.
The illegality of the killing of the birds is a significant plot point.
